AyOwA

AyOwA consists of Hannah Schneider and myself. When we play live, we occasionally bring a guitarist, a cellist and a drummer. In 2019 we toured with Faroese artist Eivør in Europe.

With modular synths, old tape machines and ethereal vocals, we channel our nordic roots creating dark, electronic, atmospheric songs. Sung mostly Danish, but with a certain universal and dreaming approach, we combine noise pop with electronica and melodies with improvisation, in an evocative and playful mix.

In February 2020 we released the single ‘First Frost’.
