Live performance of Circle in c sharp minor. This song is part of Nicolai Kornerup's upcoming work, Circles. Its a collection of songs, each written in its own key. This is C-sharp minor. While inspired by nordic folkmusic and the impressionism of early 1900s, its also very much its own.

Recorded in the concert hall of the old radio house in Copenhagen, that used to house The Danish National Radiobroadcast (DR), this building oozes of music history. A wide range of classical and jazzmusicians of the 60s and 70s has played and recorded here. The same melting pot of sounds that this music derives from. The architect was Vilhelm Lauritzen, one of the leading characters of nordic funktionalism designed this in 1945.

In the middle in the harbour of Copenhagen lies a remote little island, a sea fort from the begining of the 1700's.

I was lucky enough to go there, and sit and play my tunes in one of the houses, which hosts a piano designed by the danish legend Poul Henningsen.

I am joined by Andrea Gyarfas Brahe on violin and Live Johansson, and the video was done by Julia Eva Severinsen

One of the most unbelievable spectacular places I’ve visited. “Kråkeslottet” (Castle of crows) på Senja in Norway. The place seems to be in the end of world, and all the rooms here is even more interesting and explorative than the other. As if a child had built it with its fantasy. Here’s a video from the lighthouse and into the grand piano room. I play “Circles” in c-minor.
